Tough Choices (By Carly Fiorina)

Sorry, I don’t buy it. Carly knew perfectly well going into the job that the HP Board was dysfunctional. All the warning signs were there - they fired her predecessor, they were removed from most of the hiring process, etc. You simply can’t justify the argument that the board was in their right mind when she was hired, but “crazy loco” when she was fired? This was a tragic situation for all involved and has had ongoing repercussions for HP and the industry as a whole.
I personally don’t think any of this is Carly’s fault. She’s had a great career and did a good job as CEO of HP. I admire her as a business person, especially for her ethics, determination, and strong work-ethic. Go get ‘em, Carly - I’m hoping for a strong ACT II!
