Running With Scissors (By: Augusten Burroughs)

This is absolutely the worst book that I have ever read. It’s not Burroughs’ writing style that’s at issue here - I actually think he’s a very good writer.  It’s simply that the material was not to my taste.  I felt very uncomfortable while reading most of this book - the dirty house, the graphic sex, and the strangeness of the situation (I did not find any of the book amusing). It may have been a story that needed to be told, but it is not a story that I needed to hear.
