Dads and Kids - Growing and Learning Together

Dads, what do you do to have fun with your kids? Do you find yourself falling into the same old routines - driving to and from sports practice, weekend obligations with family or friends, a baseball game here or there, movies on rainy weekends, or an afternoon trip to the local pool when it’s hot?

Why not branch out and try something new? Try creating an adventure for you and your kids. You can file it away for that rainy day when there’s nothing else to do or you can make this weekend one of the best you’ve had in a while.

As a dad, I feel that I have to work a lot harder to make time with my kids memorable. Mothers do some pretty interesting things with the kids that’s it’s hard to keep up. But mom needs a break every now and again and you don’t want to just repeat the same old things.

I take it upon myself to make time with the kids that’s both fun AND educational (they don’t have to know they’re learning something). Consider day trips or activities that will force your clan to break-out and learn something new.
